Two readings struck me this day:
1) "Love begins in the heart--in our thoughts--and is usually expressed initially in our words. But it must not stop there; it must be lived out in our actions. ~Fr Andrew Apostoli in "Walk Humbly with Your God"
And
2)a quote from St. Padre Pio about (paraphrasing) how we are never alone because we have our guardian angels.
Both of these remind me to always be aware of those who may be hurting for reasons of which I have no knowledge.
Lord, let my actions always reflect the love I have and may I never leave someone alone who is hurting.
