"But to those who did accept him he gave power to become children of God, to those who believe in his name, who were born not by natural generation nor by human choice nor by a man's decision but of God." ~ John 1:12-13
This verse spoke to my heart this morning, my Lord and my God. Two things stood out to me.
First, in believing in your name, I have the power to become a child of God.
Second, that You willed I would be born and become your child.
This gives me reason to ponder: if that is the case, you certainly willed I would be born to the parents you gave me, have the siblings, husband and children you gave me and that it may accomplish something in this time for your glory.
Lord, help me to know what I still have to accomplish at this late hour.
