This morning dawned so cold it was crisp when you breathed. I tried to capture the coldness of it and the crispness of it in this photo which reminded me at once of the lattice work of God. It was one of those moments when I knew that the Lord had been telling me to take the photo and also what to name it. The frost is thick on these branches providing a mosaic of coldness that is nearly palpable.I did feel joyful this morning. It was wonderful news to me to hear that my son and his family will be able to make it for Christmas.I am thrilled and hope to give them true gifts of love while they are here. That is my prayer, Lord and my hope.
